Healthy or Not???

As I'm sure you've heard there's a big national talk about healthcare; which inevitably gets us talking about how healthy we really are. No; this post will not be about the actual healthcare bill, that one will come later as I have some very serious issues with it.

Really, let's talk about how healthy we are or think we are.

I always thought I was very healthy. I ate all my meals, had a moderately active life, and took my extra calcium and multi vitamins. Isn't that the prescription we are always given?

Everything came tumbling down as soon as I got my breast cancer diagnosis. How could I be that sick? No. Really, HOW? That's all I kept asking my self, my doctors, my family, everyone who would listen. No one could give me a straight answer, until I met Kim Franklin.

Kim has become a very important part of my life. She helped keep my hopes up, she kept me strong, and kept reminding me what I had to fight for. she has become my ABF (Asian Best Friend) - luv ya Kim :-) Kim is also the one that gave me a copy of this article (please read it).

"In 1992, the Earth Summit in Rio De Janeiro presented conclusive evidence that on average, American farmland was 85% depleted of minerals, compared to 75% worldwide".

How come we never hear about these things? How come no one tells us that our fruits and vegetables are far less nutritious now compared to 100 years ago?

What's up with that?

We obviously want to know, we need to know. We enjoy being healthy and we all dream of being around for many years to come. When have you ever heard anyone say "Oh I only want to live until I'm 50 or 60..." NO. We want to live until we are 100 and if we could stretch that a little more, we"ll take it.

It is in this pursuit of eternal life that we Americans spend over $20 Billion a year in vitamins and supplements. We spend all this money blindly just because we are told to do so by people we trust and the media. We take them because we know we need them to achieve our goal - TO LIVE FOREVER. But how much do we really need? Have you ever asked your self that question - "How much of this or that do I really need?"

Yeah I know READ THE LABLE. But it doesn't tell you everything. It doesn't tell you how much of what you take actually stays in your body or how much is excreted. So in the end you ask "should i take more or less?". In trying to find the answer we inevitably end up being our own pharmacists. We end up mixing bottles of vitamins and supplements without knowing how they interact or how they will affect our own body.

Now I'm not saying that my own cancer was a result of all these vitamins and supplements. No way am I saying that at ALL. My problem was far depeer than that, but I'm sure that not having the proper balance of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals in my body aggravated my situation.

So to make the long story short, there is a solution.

Get your self tested.
Yep Test your Self... and then start taking customized supplements specific to YOUR needs. No it's not expensive, especially when compared to your medical bill or the thousands you're already spending on your own bathroom pharmacy.

Remember Kim? Well she introduced me to this concept and to the company that's making it accessible to people like you and me. That company used to be called Ideal Health. Now it's called Trump Network. Yep, as in - Donald Trump. No he is not a nutritionist now; he is still "The Donald". Love him or hate him he realizes the power of this. It's huge and it's going to revolutionize the way we supplement our diets.

Oh I forgot to mention, not only do you get your own custom vitamins but you also get the entire report. For me, the report is critical because it tells you exactly why you are taking what you're taking. And just in case you have any doubts, take the report back to your own doctor. Have him/her review it with you.

For those of you who believe your doctor is a direct descendant of GOD - simply take your test kit to him/her, have he/she hold your hand while you pee in the cup. He/She can ship it to the lab in the FedEx envelope, call you to review the report and than tell you to take the custom vitamins.

My point is educate your self. Take control of your own health. Stop wasting money and time on blind products. Ask lots of questions, take advantage of all the testing that's avaialble to you through Trump Network. Most importantly stop pretending you're a Pharmacists - YOU"RE NOT ONE.

To learn more about how to get tested, drop me a line or give me a call. I want to offer you exactly what Kim offered me... Good Health and a very long, long, long life to live.

Finally, My 1st Entry

Hola!!! I've wanted to do this for a very long time - start a blog. Surprisingly I didn't know where to start or what to write. Until I realized it wasn't going to get done until I jumped in and just started typing. So here I go.

My name is Cynthia Nina-Soto but please call me Cindy, I am 27 years old. I was born in the Dominican Republic on December 22, 1981 (that makes me a capricorn). I am the oldest of 4 (3 girls, 1 boy). I have 2 beautiful children, Carolina age 8 and Yan Carlos age 3. They are truly my pride and joy. I live in Salem, Massachusetts. I am married to Carlos Soto, we've been married since September 2001, and it has been a roller coaster ride.

This is where my creative thinking stops. Luckily, my sister is going to help me. She wants to "interview" me... LOL...

What do you do for fun?
Are you kidding? I have 2 kids under the age of 10 and a husband who acts like a 10 year old. Fun? Its crazy chaotic. My fun ends up being anything the kids are doing where they are happy. When I do have a free nano-second I love to dance, expecially Merengue and Bachata. I love Salsa but I really don't know how to dance it well.

Favorite book and TV show
Although I don't have enough time to read a whole book or watch a full TV show. I must admit I am a fan of mysteries. Not scary, but suspenseful stuff. Since High School, I was very much into Mary Higgins Clark. I still like her a lot. As for TV - NCIS, CSI, Numbers, SVU, Burn Notice, you get the idea.

What do you do?
Outside of the home, I'm a businesswoman. I worked in Human Resources and then got into Real Estate. I've been doing that since 2005. When the market bottomed out, I had no choice but to supplement my income, so I started working nights at FedEx. Recently a really good friend of mine introduced me to a really cool job. Because of her I became a business partner to Donald Trump. I am now part of The Trump Network. It's very cool. I get to help people improve their health and I also help them create additional income so they can reach all their dreams.

Who are you?
I am just me. I am a mom, a wife, a sister, a friend. I am a proud Dominican woman who's gotten very far in life and has broken down and jumped over some pretty impressive hurdles in life. I am a breast cancer survivor unwilling to let life pass me by. I am a fearless determined woman who will make a difference and leave a mark in this world.

Most difficult moments of your life
Not getting into my childhood, the most difficult moments of my adult life would have to be:

  • Not being there when my grandma passed away - She was a great woman determined and fearless just like I am today.
  • Having 2 miscarriages - I know they are very common but still they were very hard for me, especially the second one.
  • Being diagnosed with Cancer - It was very hard for me to accept that it was actually happening to me. As if I hadn't gone through enough already.
  • Not having enough money to buy milk - At one point money got so tight that I would have to add water to the gallon of milk just to make it last to the next day.

Happiest moments of your life
That's a no brainer - the birth of my 2 kids. Nothing tops that

Greatest Accomplishments
Had I been asked a few years ago I would have said my greatest accomplishments where my career. Now things are so different. My greatest accomplishment is simply being here. Enjoying my family, living life, and being healthy. Everything else is secondary.

Ultimate Goals
Aside from good health, love, peace, and happiness; I have many dreams some are very materialistic, others I expect to have a greater impact on the world. For instance one of my goals after joining The Trump Network is to generate a yearly income of at least $200K within the next 36 months. Another big one on my list is to make sure no child in the US is ever hungry. There is no need for something like that to happen, especially in a country like ours. Another biggie for me is to get rid of cancer. Many kids are loosing their moms and dads to a disease that doesn't care who or what you are. How I will do that? I really don't know. Nevertheless, that's what I'm working for every day.

Where do you see yourself 50 years from now?
Honestly with everything I've been through already, I want my "old" days to be quite ordinary. No big surprises. I'd like to see grand children running around the house. I want to be able to cook for them and I definitely want to learn how to knitt cool stuff for them. Most importantly I don't want to be dependent on some government check to get me through my days. I will not rely on my government to take care of me and give me my meds.

What do you want from this blog?
Nothing in particular. I simply want to connect with people and create many symbiotic relationships. I'd like to share my thoughts on anything and hopefully help someone out of a tough spot. Regardless of what spot they may be in, emotional, financial, and/or spiritual, what ever - I'd like to be there - I'd like to be an inspiration. I obviously want to grow my business but I am confident that will happen regardless of what I say or write here.

Why did you name you blog "Fearless Determination"?
Because it simply describes what I've had to go through to be here today and also what I need to have to keep moving forward.

Random stuff about you

  • My name mean Moon Goddess, how cool is that...?

  • I've got horrible grammar so I apologize ahead of time

  • I'm pretty funny and I'm a big prankster

Well I guess that gives you a pretty good idea of who I am. If there is anythig else you would like to know about me - go ahead and ask.

Please have a wonderful day and stay in touch.

Cindy
